The 16" Japanese-style wok is recommended for restaurant or commercial use only. With a thickness of 1.2 mm and welded joints, this wok is built to withstand the demands of professional kitchens. Before using the wok, the protective coating must be burned off.

To season a new wok, follow these steps:

Step 1: Wash, rinse, and thoroughly scrub the wok using a steel scrubber and soap to remove the coating oil.

Step 2: Place the wok on the stovetop and heat it on medium-high heat. After about a minute, add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil.

Step 3: Use cooking tongs and paper towels to wipe the oil all over the wok's interior.

Step 4: Allow the wok to cool, then wipe off any excess oil. Repeat steps 2 to 4 up to 3 times to achieve a better seasoning.

It's important to note that this wok is recommended for restaurant or commercial use only. For residential customers, a wok ring is necessary due to the wok's round bottom design.
